I submitted four images to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Snapshot Photography Contest. You can see two of them in my gallery, "Famous" and "Rest Stop". This is good progress for conquering my reluctance to show my work beyond the web. Hopefully I can keep up this progressive behavior.
I recently got two portrait gigs lined up as well. Not my favorite work, but it definitely pays the bills. I also got my blog up and running. You can see that at [link] go check it out to learn more about my thoughts and journeys.
I'm also very excited because I bought the Anti 9-5 Guide by Michelle Goodman with some money I found while cleaning out some old papers. It was a nice belated birthday treat. I'm excited to start reading it tonight. I recommenced her writing to everyone. Hopefully it helps keep me even more on the right track!
And to top off my optimism today here is a cute little feature that accurately expresses my timid venturing into the world of showing my work.
